Fantastic news. Something I'd like to recommend for future use are a couple of things regarding sets:

1.) A place for notes and information about the set itself. Kind of like the little blurbs for each set in the Standard Catalog
2.) Another place for notes on the set about data entry. How to format the numbers, etc. A great example is the NNO Short Prints from this year's 206 set. If someone starts a numbering system, it needs to be explained somewhere so others can follow the lead.

Great site. Keep up the good work!

This site is awesome. The creators are awesome. I am sold on the idea and have begun moving my collection info over. Thanks for putting out such a great site, guys. I think we all appreciate it.

Great News, from a site with a great concept!
Thanks for the communication-update, I have brought quite a few people here and their main fear was..a dead main/update page. Hence their hesitation to devote time, and build a collector page. Hopefully this rejuvenates the user base and brings in many new users.

Here's to the growth required in 2010

Not a member, but I do have some thoughts on sustainabilty. One thing you might look into is using Google for image storage, they are way cheaper than Amazon S3 without those nasty bandwidth add-ons. 200GB for $50 a year, I don't think you can beat that with a stick. There are also a ton of published php apis in order to let you get the images in and out of Picasa.

Or, perhaps you should consider not hosting the images yourself at all, just links to images. No need ro reinvent the wheel. Who owns card images anyway? Last I checked, Topps and their peers had all the copyrights, so having to credit some of these other sites, when they are not even hosting the images for you is somewhere between complete BS and total BS.

AWESOME! I was just starting to wonder where the missing proprietors were!

Glad to hear that you intend to keep it going and improve upon it. Looking forward to helping in whatever way I can. Thanks.

Thanks for the update Ashley! I can't tell you how much I appreciate the site and all of the hard work that you and Josh put into it. I understand that there's a financial element too, and would be more than happy to pay a reasonable monthly fee to continue using if that's deemed the best way. Looking forward to another year on Zistle!
