New Drag and Drop Card Images onto Zistle

We’ve recently been working hard to make it easier to add images to the Zistle Library. Last week, we launched a new feature so you can add images by url, making it easy to add images from photo-sharing sites like Photobucket or even your own blog.

Now you can just drag images from your computer onto the Zistle site and it will instantly upload the image to Zistle.  It is so slick, I made a quick video demo to show you how it works.

Sorry for the weird watermark. We are cheap and didn’t buy the software – although we would definitely recommend screenflow to anyone. Very easy to use!

P.S. Right now this only works in the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox, when IE10 is released it should be able compatible but until then you should try out something more modern.

We haven’t figured this out quite yet but we’ll be adding more bulk image features in the future.

What is the size limit for images for this feature?  Mine upload the traditional way just fine, but when I try to drag and drop I get an error message saying the file is too large.

Mine are all sized no more than 1000 pixels tall or wide and upload great in the drag & drop.

Very nice, can’t wait to try this out!

There shouldn’t be any difference.  If you want I can look into it and see what is going on.  Send me something through the support tool and we can follow up through that.  Thanks.

This feature is great, however, I’m having issues with the size also.  I scanned though your blog history to see if there was a post on specifically taking images, and i couldn’t find anything.  My question is what is the best way to get the images into Zistle so they look crisp.  I have been taking pictures of my cards with my iPhone and uploading then into my Mac.  This doesn’t seem to look very nice or be working in the drag and drop feature.  Any suggestions?
