We have added the ability to “flip” cards in the gallery view when editing your collection by using the link in the screenshot below:

Clicking this button flips over all of the cards in the gallery view and shows you their back images.

When the cards are showing their backs, you can drag and drop back images onto them just as you would the fronts.  So if you want to upload back images, just flip the gallery view and start dragging and dropping.

We’ve started with a somewhat small list but we’re definitely going to add more over time. Here are the badges that you can earn as of today.

1K Club – 1K cards in collection
10K Club – 10K cards in collection
100K Club – 100K cards in collection
Auto hunter – 1K autos in collection
Big game hunter – 1K extremely rare cards (#’d to less than 10)
Relic Hunter – 1K relics in collection
Rookie Hunter –  1K rookies in collection
Contributor –  Contributed to the library
Data deputy – 1000 flags accepted
Photographer – Added 1000 images
Photophile – Added 10000 images
Stats on the back – Added 1000 back images
Trade Scout – Initiated  20 trades
Trade debut – Completed trade
Wheel and deal – 10 completed trades
Crowd pleaser – 8+ trade rating with 10+ trades

There are varying degrees of difficulty: blue, green, gold, red (listed in order from least to most difficult).

We really want your suggestions on badge ideas! You can suggest them in the feedback forum or just comment  below.

We see Set Experts as guardians of the set. They make sure that the information is complete and accurate including the checklists, images, set information and subset attributes. We’ve added some new features to make this easier than ever before including a new set expert layout, the ability to add attributes to an entire subset and clone parallel sets automatically.

New Layout 

The set expert panel has a new layout that breaks out the individual tasks needed for the set to be complete. This includes, updating the set and subset information, completing the database and validating the accuracy of the content.

Exactly as before, Set Experts will need to be approved by Zistle administrators. To volunteer, simply visit a set page in the Zistle library and let us know that you’re interested.

Adding attributes to the subset

Many subsets (parallels, inserts, etc) share some kind of uniform attribute. They may all be rookie cards or they may all be autographed relics, etc. Rather than having to add all of that information card by card, set experts now have the ability to add these attributes for the entire subset on the set expert panel. This will apply that particular attribute for every card in the subset. Including cards that are added after the fact.

Cloning parallel sets

One of the most requested features for the library is the ability to automatically populate subsets. Well now it is here. As a set expert, you can now make any subset the parallel of another which not only populate all cards in the parallel set but it will keep them in sync. This is a really powerful tool and with great power comes great responsibility. For now, we’ve limited this feature to Set Experts. We may eventually open this functionality up to all users but for now, we encourage you to become a set expert if you are interested in helping us populate the database.

As always, we want to thank our community for continuing to contribute to our library and give us awesome suggestions for improving. We’re listening and we appreciate the constructive criticism that we get from our members and the collector community at large.

Almost Done – You’ll be able to see sets that just need a few more entries to complete the set. Set completion is important because once a set is complete, we can prevent people from inadvertently screwing up the set data by mistake.

Brand spanking new sets - New sets on Zistle need help populating the checklists as well as adding set information. You can now see recently added sets on the individual sports library page.

Sets needing set details – In an effort to add more set details on Zistle, we’re highlighting sets that are still missing key information such as release date, set description and set image.
